It’s really about how you look at life—through a wide-angle lens.

Life isn’t meant to be taken at face value for every lesson that presents itself to us. Instead, the lessons come to show us what we should have learned and to test our strength to see if what is being taught is understood, applied, and comprehended.

Life isn’t meant to dwell on the past; it is full of moments of bliss, joy, sorrow, disappointment, challenges, and pleasantries alike. Nor is the future meant to be dwelt upon. We can’t change it. We don’t even know what the future holds, let alone what will happen in the next 10 minutes, tomorrow, or even a month from now.

Life is meant to be lived in the NOW. Now is all any of us have. Now is the culmination of all the past, including everything that has led up to the present. What I like to call — NOW:TIME.

If your NOW:TIME is not your desired outcome, then it’s time to use your imagination and will to conjure up a better desired outcome. Keep living in the NOW and fine-tuning your intention and emotion to a place of gratitude. As part of this imagining, use what you’ve experienced or know as the past. It most certainly is a key ingredient in altering your circumstances for the benefit of your imagined, desired moment.

As we continue to navigate through the ups and downs of life, it becomes essential to embrace the unseen, unforeseen, and unimaginably delightful moments that come our way. These hidden gems hold the potential to transform our perspective and bring about profound growth and happiness.

When we open our hearts and minds to the wider lens of life, we begin to understand that each experience in NOW:TIME is not merely a fleeting moment but a profound lesson waiting to be learned. Rather than viewing these lessons as hurdles or setbacks, we start to see them as opportunities for personal development and self-discovery. They challenge us to evaluate our strengths, resilience, and understanding of the world around us.
While it is important to reflect on the past and learn from it, dwelling on it can hinder our progress. Life is a series of fleeting moments, both joyous and sorrowful. By fixating on what has already happened, we risk missing out on the beauty and potential that lie in the present. The future, too, remains a mystery that we cannot control or predict. Instead of becoming consumed by uncertainty, we ought to embrace it and focus on making the most of the NOW.

Living in the present moment, what I call NOW:TIME, is a transformative concept. It compels us to appreciate the culmination of our past experiences, both the triumphs and the trials, that have led us to this very moment. In NOW:TIME, we have the power to shape our future by utilizing our imagination, willpower, and gratitude.

If our current NOW:TIME does not align with our desired outcome, we have the ability to change it through intention and emotion. By tapping into our imaginative abilities, we can visualize a better future and work towards manifesting it in our reality. We draw upon the wisdom and knowledge gained from our past, using it as a crucial ingredient in molding our circumstances to match our desired moments.

Life, in all its complexity, is meant to be savored in the present. It is a delicate balance between reflection and envisioning. By embracing the unseen, unforeseen, and unimaginably delightful, we open ourselves up to a world of infinite possibilities and untapped potential. Embrace the NOW, learn from the past, and, as a result of the gift of this present moment, create the future we desire.

May the years ahead reveal to us ways to eradicate violence, hate, and jealousy, and may we learn and comprehend what it really means to love our human family and not just ourselves.

May we all live with more compassion in our hearts, walk with more empathy and understanding in our minds, and keep our lips from speaking ill of others and our minds from thinking ANYTHING negative.

May the next 366 days (and counting) show us how to give and share without expectancy. May we be reminded to offer new ideas and bring more LIGHT into our lives and to those we come in contact with.

Here’s to wishing each and every one of you a sweet, prosperous, peaceful year full of all things GOOD. A year filled with positive life-altering experiences in NOW:TIME.

Remember, the power lies in the words, the faith, and the unyielding desire to rewrite the past, not erase it.
